Dan grade registration

Information for eligible candidates who have received

permission from their club instructor to grade

Please note

  • This page is designed to provide eligible Dan grade candidates the key dates, process and payment links for the upcoming Dan grading

  • Candidates are eligible once they have

    • fulfilled the Dan grading criteria available here.

    • received permission to grade from club instructor

  • If you have any queries contact your club instructor.

Key dates

For the Pre Dan course on the 28/3/26 you must hand in the following in order to register for the grading. Note: Registration will not be accepted on the day of the grading!)

  • Please bring

    • proof of payment of fees (ClubZap emailed receipt). Payment details below. NO Cash NO exceptions

    • the completed KUGB Dan grading exam form by the grading candidate (or parent/guardian).

      • Affix a recent passport photo to the form.

      • In the section for 'KUGB licence number', put N/A

      • In the section for 'parent club', put your club name, followed by USKFI e.g. Monasterevin SKC USKFI , Virginia SKC USKFI , etc.

      • Please print name carefully and clearly in block capitals - This will be used for your cert if successful.

      • Those re-taking either kata or kumite should bring the form from their previous grading. 

    • Your grading book (old licence book)

    • Your Course attendance record book.

  • Those that register will then be asked to fill out a medical screening form.

Fees and Payment

Includes Course Fee and KUGB fee. You will be emailed a receipt on payment.
