Supporting USKFI
From Beginner to Elite — Support Every Athlete.
How USKFI is funded
USKFI – United Shotokan Karate Federation of Ireland is a not for profit Karate federation.
Our funding comes from membership fees, courses, competitions, sponsorship, donations and fundraising.
Everything raised is reinvested back into the federation, our clubs and our members.
What USKFI Funds
USKFI funding supports:
National competitions and events
Courses and specialist coaching
Instructor, referee and judge development
Equipment and federation resources
National Squad training and development
International competition costs
Federation administration and digital services
A Fully Funded National Squad
Selection should be based on ability, commitment and performance and not Finances
For selected international competitions, USKFI funds National Squad costs including travel, accommodation and competition entry fees.
Why Additional Support Matters
Membership and event income help keep the federation running.
Sponsorship, donations and fundraising allow us to do more, from providing specialist coaching to supporting our athletes representing USKFI and Ireland internationally.
Every contribution to USKFI helps us put more resources back into karate for the benefit of our members
